Portfolio Day + Scholastic = Big HIT

The folks at PNCA were thrilled with the union of portfolio days with the Scholastic art awards. What did you think of the work? What did you think of portfolio days? Can't wait for the Scholastic reception!

This dog had so much fun, it's exhausted!

  3. Oh my gosh! Some of the works there were amazing! I was blown out of my mind! I could actually recognize some of the pieces done by my classmates from Clackamas. And then there were others... others I just wondered why were there. But that's just me and my judgemental mindset.

I mean everyone is judgemental about art, especially those portfolio people! But there is a difference between constructive criticism and not doing a good job at saying 'you suck!'. (anyway i'll rant more on my blog or something)

But other then some unwanted criticism and that 5 hours of my day was gone when I had a paper to write (and still do tonight) it was fine and very helpful. I'm glad i went despite running out with a half deflated ego.

  4. I loved all of the work but feel really bad for ryland because of his broken bottle. but all in all i thought that the work was really amazing and that because all of the stuff was gold key it was all really awesome work. Oregon just rocked this thing as a state. and i thought that portfolio day was fine.
